Dead to Rites is a darkly comic murder mystery series that follows a disgruntled anthropology professor who moves to Los Angeles after his wealthy venture-capitalist brother promises him a new life—only to discover that his brother has died under suspicious circumstances. Stranded, broke, and obsessed with solving the crime, he takes up residence inside his brother’s crypt at Hollywood Forever Cemetery while unraveling a labyrinth of suspects, secrets, scams, and absurdities.
