Chasing Honus

Hank Bronski hasn't missed a Pittsburgh Pirates game in twenty years. When his late uncle leaves him the rarest baseball card in existence — a Honus Wagner T206 — his mother accidentally sells it at a garage sale for ten dollars. What follows is a lively, warm-hearted adventure across Pittsburgh and New York City as Hank teams up with the unwitting buyer, a Tupperware saleswoman named Mickey, to chase down the million-dollar card before drug dealers, a scheming team owner, and sheer bad luck beat them to it. Along the way, Hank discovers that the chase isn't just about the card — it's about expanding his small life, falling in love, and taking his passion for baseball to the next level.
